Metodology
Best Practices and Implementation Methodology
It is the set of processes, procedures, guides and policies that direct the way in which the IT operation is supported. This model is developed under the philosophy that the processes must be aligned with the best practices, in this case those used are PMI, SCRUM and CMMI.
PMI
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a national non-profit organization that associates professionals related to Project Management. The PMI defines the project as a temporary endeavor that is carried out to create a product or service. It is a process, with a specific duration and a specific purpose, made up of different activities and tasks, which can be developed gradually. Every project needs to be directed or managed by a project manager. Project management would be the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to the activities that make up the projects, in order to satisfy the requirements of the same. According to PMI, project management is achieved by executing processes, using management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques.
SCRUM
Scrum is the name given to agile development frameworks characterized by:
- Adopt an incremental development strategy, rather than full product planning and execution.
- Basing the quality of the result more on the tacit knowledge of people in self-organized teams, than on the quality of the processes used.
- Overlapping the different stages of development, rather than one after the other in a sequential or cascading cycle.
CMMI
Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a model for the improvement and evaluation of processes for the development, maintenance and operation of software systems.
